GRAND OPENING CARLSBAD, CA SWIRL X L*SPACE

We partnered with our friends L*Space and the Influence Movement to host our third location Grand Opening in Carlsbad, Ca May 3rd, 2019. We hosted over 200+ of our favorite babes, clients, influencers and friends! We started with a bang and a line out the door.

One of our favorite elements was Snake Oil cocktail Co. This San Diego based cocktail company impressed guests with their celebration of local produce, innovation and Instagram-able cocktail graffiti.

Guests nibbled on the charcuterie plate of our dreams by That Meal Prep Chick, custom cookies and donuts from our neighbors The Goods Donuts.

Flower goddess Tess Made adorned the space with her beautiful flowers and transformed our lovely back patio into a girly wonderland. If you ever have been to one of our parties...you will sure see some floral magic from our favorite lady.

Guests also got to chocolate taste with the holy grail Beauty Bar Chocolate. Did you know that this chocolate relives stress, fights fatigue & balances hormones all while giving your skin that natural glow. Finally chocolate we feel good about eating!

We had fun POP-ups from our friends Erin Fader Jewelry and D'Blanc Sunglasses. Everyone loved meeting the designer Erin Fader and Don from D'blanc!

We had professional photog babe Sarah from This Wild Romance taking epic shots all night long. Guests were loving our now infamous SWIRL SOCIETY wall. We also had our friend Lucy from Selfie Station getting fun groups together for take-home photo booth pics because who doesn't love a good photo booth?!

Our boss babe Lisa Landers made sure this event was one for the books. It has been our most successful launch to date. Here are our 3 pro tips for hosting a successful event:

Promote, promote, promote: We talked about this event months and months before the launch. We used all of our social networks to reach local fashion lovers, we enlisted the help of influencers with a large reach to talk about the event and we invited people/clients the old fashion way...personally.
Brand collaboration: We worked with an amazing group of brand partners + local businesses who gifted attendees and provided incredible brand support.
Attention to detail: Following up with important guests, ensuring the perfect mix of brand partners along with unique party activations. We loved making sure every guest felt spacial. After the event it was important to re-post event hauls, IG posts and send party images to guests & brands. If you do this your event can live on for months instead of just one night.

We feel like it's worth mentioning how genuinely welcoming everyone was. We saw some ladies making connections for the first time & we love a good networking opportunity.
